Norfolk Now is a community newspaper free to all Norfolk residents and available for $30 to out-of-town subscribers. The paper is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who fill all roles involved with the paper's production.
Norfolk Now keeps the local community informed of local news and events, provides residents the opportunity to express opinions, gives local merchants a chance to tout their wares through advertising and provides the opportunity for non-profit organizations, such as the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department, the Volunteer Ambulance Service, Lions Club, the Selectmen's office and various town committees to keep the community up to date with their activities.
For us to make it successfully to almost ten years is a testament to the amount of support we have received from the community and various organizations. We rely on such support and we are appreciative of the fact that even in the economic downturn, financial support continued to come our way. Thank you. Without you and such support, the paper, quite simply, would cease to exist.
